From Srinagar Airport (SXR) – 90 kilometers, about 2.5 hours.

• By Private Car/Taxi: This is the fastest and most comfortable way to travel. You can pre‑book a sedan or SUV. Your journey will be along NH 44 → NH 501, taking you through beautiful pine forests and river valleys. There will be one or two short security stops along the way.
• By Shared Cab: This is a cheaper choice. Shared SUVs leave Srinagar every 1–2 hours from Batmaloo chowk. Seats fill up quickly during the busy season (May–July), so get there early.
• From Jammu Tawi Railway Station, it is 300 km. It takes about 8 to 9 hours.
• By Road via Udhampur → Srinagar: After you get there, take a shared taxi or private car to Srinagar, then continue as mentioned before. You can also find some direct Jammu–Pahalgam cars; just ask at the taxi stand in the station.
• By Bus: Buses from Jammu to Srinagar run often; change buses in Srinagar for the rest of your trip.
